Beatrice Hunter Cancer Reseach Institute
The Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute was created in 2009 to foster a more powerful and productive cancer research effort in Atlantic Canada.
Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute brings together a diverse community of cancer researchers in pursuit of a common goal: to save lives and ease the burden of cancer on individuals, families and society.
The Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute involves many partner organizations including Cancer Care Nova Scotia. These partners are committed to working together to develop research capacity in Nova Scotia, to forge broad-based research collaborations across the province and region, and to create a unified focus for fundraising and community engagement.
