The afternoon will begin at 5 p.m. in the Bethune Ballroom at the Victoria General Hospital site of the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre. Plan to attend the next Cancer Answers lecture series, Cancer and Emotional Distress: Coping Strategies. The lecture will be held on May 25, 2010 between 7 and 8:30 p.m. in the Royal Bank Lecture Theatre of the Halifax Infirmary. It will be presented by Dr. Janice Howes, Psychologist, Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre and Psycho-social Oncology Clinic Leader, Cancer Care Nova Scotia.The lecture will be available across the province via video conferencing. Mark your calendar and plan to attend the annual Atlantic Canada Oncology Group (ACOG) symposium, being held from June 17-19, 2010 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The first day will focus on breast cancer. The second day will include topics of general interest to all oncology specialists.
