Tanning is out!









After a long, cold, and snowy winter, the thought of finally being able to dig out the shorts and flip flops and enjoy the summer sun is a welcome one. Nova Scotia summers are short and it’s understandable to want to maximize time outside when the weather is nice.

By all means enjoy the summer and all that Nova Scotia has to offer. Get out and get active…but do it safely. Protect your skin and protect your eyes. Exposure to the ultraviolet rays from the sun is the primary preventable cause of melanoma, the most fatal form of skin cancer as well as basal cell and squamous cell skin cancers.
