Throughout the Fall of 2009 preparations for the H1N1 pandemic challenged every area within health care. Recognizing the impact on the health care work force and our district health authorities, in addition to the contagious nature of the H1N1 virus, Cancer Care Nova Scotia decided to cancel its scheduled education sessions for the fall.
Continuing health professional education programs will resume in January 2010. These will be tailored to meet the needs of specific district health authorities.
A full slate of continuing education programs, including both Interprofessional Core Curriculum (ICC) modules and facilitator training, will be held in the Spring of 2010.
Details of upcoming education sessions will be posted on our website as they become available. Please book mark this site and return often to get updates on Cancer Care Nova Scotia’s continuing health professional education offerings.
