RNCC’s who have not administered cancer chemotherapy for 1 year or longer will be required to demonstrate both knowledge and clinical competency prior to administering cancer chemotherapy again.

Specifically the RN will:

• Be encouraged to review the Online Administration of Cancer Chemotherapy Program curriculum, but must challenge the final assignment. To access the registration form for the program click here.
• The RN will be preceptored until deemed competent by the preceptor.
• The RN will complete an Administration of Cancer Chemotherapy Competency checklist with the preceptor/educator/oncology practice consultant.
