Readership survey results are in!
Thanks to the 238 readers who took time to complete our newsletter readership survey. Fifty-three per cent of respondents were health professionals; 36 per cent were cancer survivors; and 11 per cent were interested members of the public.

Twenty-nine per cent of respondents read both the print and electronic newsletters. Forty-four per cent of respondents like the current format including the abbreviated print version with the full story available electronically. However, 56 percent indicated that a change in format might be appropriate: 23 per cent suggested discontinuing with the print and focusing instead on an electronic newsletter; 28 per cent suggested there is value in producing it less than six times a year with more information and five per cent suggested producing it more often than six times a year.

The top three cancer-related topics, in order of priority, include: information on new drugs and therapies; cancer news in Nova Scotia, Canada and Internationally; and profiles on cancer specialists within the Nova Scotia cancer system.

Thanks again to all who responded. We will work to incorporate your ideas and suggestions as we move forward.
