Cancer Care Nova Scotia is working to enhance and improve cancer services for all Nova Scotians. Although direct services to cancer patients are provided by the province’s district health authorities, CCNS does provide information to support Nova Scotians in making informed decisions.
Cancer Answers Lecture Series - Everyone affected by cancer shares a need for answers. A series of free public lectures on a variety of cancer-related topics are delivered by cancer experts to help provide those answers. With hundreds of participants, the lectures are making a difference in communities.
Medication Information Sheets - Medication information sheets include information for patients about commonly used drugs for both cancer treatment and supportive care. They explain the drug’s appearance, its uses, recommended doses, precautions and side effects. See the list of Med Info Sheets for more details.
